Ok, so I am *only* a relief teacher, but the treatment sucked man.
Today, I was told by a HOD, "You do not need to come to school tomorrow".
Yes, I am paid by the day, yes, tomorrow is Teachers' Day celebrations, therefore there are no classes, eventhough I am supposed to be in school on Wednesdays, but it would have been nice to have been invited. ("But you are welcome to come and join in the celebrations anyway." would have been nice).
And to think I remediate when necessary, and have to set CAs and SAs, and key in marks like any other subject teacher too. It's not like I go in to relief teachers who are on MC. I am there for the entire semester.
Way to be snubbed.
