Just attended a colleague's wedding at Orchard Parade Hotel.
Food wasn't too bad, which is not surprising considering that it's from the Tung Luk Group.
First time attending a wedding dinner at Orchard Parade, formerly known as the Ming Court Hotel. Not too bad. Decent ballroom. Not as grand as the newer hotels, obviously, but nice.
Spent the day running errands, including changing my address and signature at CD, and taking my passport photos. Didn't quite manage to go to ICA to fill in and drop off the application forms, as I had to get home to get ready for the wedding dinner.
Oh yes, I found out that I'm somewhat like Clark Kent - I look completely different with and without glasses, apparently. That where the similarity ends though - taking off my glasses/specs only makes me look like a completely different person. It does not give me super-powers. Although it can be argued that superman/clark kent has his super-powers even with his glasses on.
Hmm. I am discussing superman/Clark Kent on my blog. It is obviously time for bed.
