Just came back from a dinner with some old JC friends - Andy, Daniel, SK, Ian and Jan and our spouses and kid (SK). Had a great time catching up, and reminiscing about old times.
We had a BBQ at Daniel's parents' place.
Daniel's back for a couple of months to escape the English winter, and to explore his thesis for his PhD. He's married to a nice girl named Shiqi, but I didn't really get to speak much with her. All I know is that she's in the accounting field.
Ian's in town for about 3 weeks to explore the possibility of working with SK.
SK's living in Woodlands. Did not stray very far into S'pore from M'sia, lol. Last I met him was my first or second year teaching. Was in ACS, and he crashed my class. I remember there was some drama over this girl called Erny. He's married to her now, and they have a very cute kid whom they're home-schooling.
Jan's married too, with a kid on the way. I did not get to speak to Sarah at all. :( Jan's now a pastor. Did not see that coming. Not that he was wild or anything in JC. Just not uber holy or religious, that's all.
Andy I just had lunch with recently, so no updates since then.
The guys also invited their bio teacher from ACS - a 'Mdm' Katherine (Catherine?) Wong, whom they insist on calling Miss Wong, just to annoy her and her husband (whom she did not bring along).
I had a great time, and I think Mr Milo did too. And I think he appreciates me more too, which is always good. :P
