Bro left for SF today. Will be gone for a year. :( It's a great opportunity for him, though, so :)
Anyway, at this very moment, he's on his way to HK, where he will change planes to one that will get him to SF (the one he's on will go to Chicago).
Woke up at 4am (well, got out of bed at 4:07 after hitting the snooze button several times). Fed the cat and went to the airport where we met up with Mum, DB, Kor and WL. Passed him the brownies and informed him that he did not *have* to finish them all up on the flight over as it was ok to bring baked goods into the US (I checked). Then, the 5 of us went to have breakfast at Wang (kaya toast, eggs and hot drink at T3) while he did his I/C duties.
He joined us, along with his housemate Yen who was not accompanied by family.
Anyway, after seeing him off, we went to Mum's where we stoned for a while and read the papers. At least WL and I did. Mr Milo went home after buying some more AUD (1.01).
Left Mum's and drove to RP with WL.
Today will be a long day. An early start, and a late end as today is also Granny's birthday, so we'll be going to 3rd Uncle's place for celebrations later. Not sure if I'll last, but to help me along, I got myself a can of Red Bull. Hopefully I won't be stoning during M3.
Anyway, since I'm on, I might as well mention that we brought forward Mum's birthday dinner to Wed (12/11) since Kor would not be in town on the actual day. We celebrated at Peony Jade. Had the set for 6 pax. Really yummy. And filling.
