Finals Week + SketchUp Renderings

It's the last week of the semester, and I am dying. So much work to complete. I didn't actually sleep last night. Two I worked on over the weekend aren't particularly difficult. Just tedious. It doesn't help that one of the programmes I was using kept shutting off/crashing on me randomly. It's was annoying to have to keep remembering to save after every few changes or lose work. Having to wait while the computer/programme does its thing/takes time to render/save (It's an old computer. I'm generally perfectly happy with it, just not so much when rushing assignments. On the plus side, I now know how to convert .pdf files to .jpg, and to combine separate .pdf files into one file. So one of the courses I'm taking is AutoCAD for Interior Designers, which is more interior design focused content, compared to the more engineering focused Basic AutoCAD course I took last semester. E is 1!

Wow! Has it already been a year? At this time a year ago, I was in the hospital, resting up after delivery, probably sleeping, in between feeding times when the nurses would wheel him to me for me to attempt to nurse him. He would suckle for a couple of minutes, five at the most, before falling asleep, although I was supposed to keep him at it for about 20 mins. Mugshot Monday

I believe I mentioned in an earlier post that I took Ceramics I this semester. Well, we sent all our pieces in two weeks ago for firing, and I've gotten some of my stuff back last week. I'm pretty chuffed. None of the items are all that great, but it was my first time! I can see that my stuff got better as time went on. I really need to work on glazing. We glazed everything at one shot, so there wasn't really an opportunity to learn from mistakes made there. I'm trying to work out if I should take Ceramics II next semester. The schedule of lessons mostly clash with my required courses. I think there's one class that doesn't clash, but it's in the afternoon, and I've got a three hour lesson in the evening on those days as well. If I were a carefree student, I would just do go for it. However, we're not entirely sure if Mr Milo will have to go work in Boston by then.
