I am now on my bro's sofa in his living room with Mr Milo beside me, and with the (partial) view of the Pacific Ocean before me. It is 9:00 am and we're the only 2 awake in the house.
I am attempting to post pictures onto Facebook as well as here.
All packed! Everything Mr Milo and I needed were packed into this piece of luggage. It weighed a total of 21 kg. Forgot to take a photo of the other piece of luggage, which had two more pieces packed inside it. :) Not that I plan on doing *that* much shopping. Gonna help my bro cart some of his things back.

The T3 ladies room. Fancy, no?

With a large lounge/makeup area.

My trip outfit.

I know I blogged about wearing a long, full skirt/dress, but did not find anything suitable in my closet and was not about to buy one just for this purpose. I'll see if I can find anything suitable here. Decided to go with this pair of pants as I recently discovered that I can fit into it again, and, because it is stretchy, think it would be more comfy than jeans. The shoes were just in case we had to take them off to be x-rayed (they did not).
Changi's Terminal 3.

Lots of brand name shopping. Surprisingly, I didn't buy a. single. thing.
A Beard Papa snack. I know I'm holding it, but I didn't buy it. I did try it though. :P

Mr Milo enjoying his snack. I really like the green chairs.

Mochi! I did not know Beard Papa sold mochi, but then, I had never bought anything from them before, so that's understandable. We did not buy any, but I could not resist taking a picture.

On our way to gate B8, we passed the airport hotel. This roof garden is accessible to hotel guests only. Mr Milo and I tried to access it last time we were at T3, but failed to do so.

The iconic control tower.

Our gate.

On board the Boeing 777-300ER. New features (to me): a much larger screen, the handset under the screen (makes way more sense here than on the armrest - *much* more convenient in this position. Also, a hook on the left, a cup holder (mine was spoilt) and a compartment for spectacles! Very convenient. On the right, video, USB and Lan ports. If I had brought along my USB card reader, I could view my holiday photos on screen!

There is a light below the screen. Casts just enough light on the tray table to illuminate it for reading/writing. Did not take a photo. Must remember to do so on the way back.
New foldable tray table. This is a good size for just putting some things, or for writing on.

Complete with mirror

Fully unfolded! It can be pulled forward to be closer to you (less chance of spills).

I'm omitting most of the toilet photos (!!), but am including this one. I like this idea as I like to touch as few things as possible, esp where waste is concerned. I remember that in the past, I would see these bins held ajar by tissue and cups because some others obviously have the same sentiment as I. Thus, for people like us, they have made this foot activated.

Viola!

On our way to Hong Kong, I watched The Proposal again, and one episode of classic Star Trek.
When we arrived in Hong Kong, we had to take down all our things and have them x-rayed again. After that, we basically only had half an hour to shop in their seven floor duty-free shopping area. So we went to look for Wing Wah (7th floor) where we bought some Chinese biscuits - Wife's Biscuits and moon cake.
Duty-free shopping:

Back towards the gate (26)

Before boarding, Mr Milo visited the complimentary internet coms to check on his game.
At the gate, they searched through every single one of our bags and then we were on our way to San Francisco.
This leg, I re-watched Star Trek, but fell asleep about halfway through. When I woke up, we were abt 8 hrs to SF, so I decided to try to stay awake so that I would adjust to the time difference more easily. It helped that I felt completely wide awake and alert. So I decided to continue watching Star Trek from where I left off. Due to the fact that the entire cabin was dark and everyone else was sleeping, I again felt very sleepy. I completed the movie, watched another ep of classic Star Trek and then fell asleep again.

Not very clear here, but there are several layers of clouds here.

Took some photos of us before we landed.

The luggage trolleys here have brakes!

With four suitcases between us, we had to take a van taxi. There is a ramp at the back of the van.

It was good to see Kor again after almost 10 months. He was so happy to see WL.
(Note, Kor greeted us at the gate in his Star Trek jacket. There seemed to be a theme to this part of the trip.)
