Went to see Dr Kee again today. This time, JH went with me.
This time, I did not need to have a vaginal ultrasound. The sac has grown. 2.8cm large. He could not find anything in the sac at first, but when he looked harder, there was a 1/2 to 1mm white blip in the sac. When he zoomed in, we could see it flickering! A heartbeat! I was so happy and relieved, I cried.
This is further than my previous pregnancy, where we never got a heartbeat. Dr Kee said that it is the beginning of the heartbeat, because it is not very fast. However, since there is a heartbeat, we have a good chance. We're not out of the woods yet, tho. I am a bit concerned, because according to literature, my fetus is supposed to be larger by now. So I'm going to continue taking care and praying.
