Lousy Service at Deliturk in Suntec City

My family and I went to DeliTurk in Suntec City (beside Kushinbo) for lunch today.

While my hubby and I normally enjoy our food there, we did not this time, mainly because of the service and the attitude of the owner.

Our order took 45 minutes to arrive. A very long time for a cafe that is not very full. And when the food arrived, it was rather cold. We had to ask for tea 3 times before it was served.

When we spoke to the boss/owner about it, he responded by saying:
1) there was no possible way that the food arrived cold, (so, what? we were mistaken? we should be able to tell if the food we ate was hot or cold, no?)
2) Turkish food is meant to be eaten quickly (meaning if we ate too slowly, then too bad for us)
3) the waitress is new, (2 days into the job - not really the customer's problem, actually) and
4) the reason he cannot get good wait staff is to be blamed on the Ministry of Manpower for the various rules and regulations (DEFINITELY not our problem or concern. And definitely not an acceptable excuse).

Suffice to say, we will NEVER be eating there ever again.
