I did not realise how tired one can get, with chickenpox. I had always thought that it was just bothersome and itchy. I did not expect to tire and get breathless so easily. For example, coming back from the doctor's, the day I broke out in spots. The doctors nearest my place were closed for the day (just my luck that the only weekday afternoon they do not open is Wed), so I went to the one at Hougang Plaza. While I normally walk back from there (2 bus-stops), since I wasn't feeling too hot, I decided to wait for the bus. As usual, 112 takes a really long time to come. Just sitting there at the bus-stop waiting for the bus was tough. The bodyache that comes with the virus was making the constant backache I have much worse. After the bus ride, all I had to do was to cross the road, walk up the stairs, unlock the grille and doors. Man, that was tough. By the time I made it up the stairs, I was so breathless and beat. I actually had doubts that I would be able to unlock the padlock. When I got in, I didn't even have the energy to pat the cat which was on the dining table (I didn't even need to bend down to pat him). I just dumped my bag, made my way to the sofa and crashed.
Even sitting in front of the pc is tiring. I thought that I would get some of my photos in order, but I can't actually sit up for very long. My back will ache rather badly. And I haven't been answering my h/p. Because it's often not on the same floor as I am.
