Woke up before 7am today. Got ready for school, including ironing a blouse which I did not end up wearing. Boiled myself an egg and packed a salad lunch and some strawberries(from Waneroo!) for lunch.
Drove to RP and arrived before 8am. Bought 2X200ml packs of chocolate milk from 7-11. Actually only wanted to buy one, but they were having an offer, where the second pack costs only 70 cents more, so I bought it.
Printed out the Lesson Plan, and read through them.
Had my strawberries during the break while looking through the teams' PDTs.
Had my salad during lunch. Forgot to bring salad dressing, but the flavour of the leftover fried veg I threw into my salad was enough.
Mum called while I was having lunch to let me know that she was on the way to campus to pick up the car as she had many errands to run ad places to be. So I called JH to ask him to pick me up, since he had a meeting in Woodlands in the late afternoon.
Was really frustrated with my class who are not doing much critical thinking.
After class, Mr Milo called to say that he was done earlier than expected, and could pick me up soon. So I IMed WL to ask her if she wanted a lift too. She did, so I asked her to meet me at the OSC and made my own way there, stopping by the AXS machine to pay for my season parking.
We waited for a while, and Mr Milo came and we headed for Mum's. But Mum was not back yet, so we waited in the car for her, because DB was 'in a huff' and we did not want to risk running into him.
When Mum arrived, we went upstairs to while away time before dinner. Once we got word that Kor was on his way, we also made our way to Sin Min for dinner. Managed to find a parking lot with no difficulty at all. Yay!
We ordered 3 types of herbal soup - ginseng chicken, and 2 types of pork soup, doumiao, beansprouts and sambal squid. Of the soups, I liked the ginseng chicken best. As I did not have a lot of meat for lunch (way less than my quota of 100g, I had a small piece of chicken and an even smaller piece of pork as well.
After dropping Kor and WL off, we drove to Mum's. It was raining heavily, so we hung out in the car. We decided not to go up as I was rather tired. When there was a lull, we decided to leave. Of course, after we were safely in the other car, and Mum under shelter, the rain almost completely stopped. Sigh.
Food Journal:
Breakfast - Hardboiled egg, milk
Break - strawberries
Lunch - salad, a little chicken
Dinner - soup, veg, a very little chicken and pork
Gratitude Journal
I'm glad its the end of the week.
