Let's see. I forgot to update yesterday, and now have to depend on my memory.
I can't remember what I did in the morning, but we left for Islamic for lunch. On our way there, Dad called, and asked us to pick him up from Parklane ?? Building - the art deco, Gotham like building as it was raining heavily, so we did.
Went to Islamic where Kor and WL already were. Dad had mutton briyani while kor had chicken briyani and WL had the Indonesian set, and Mr Milo and I both had the tandoori set. The food was good as usual, but the service was not. The tandoori sets took a reallly long time coming, but since we weren't in a great hurry, we did not rush them for it. However, when he served a tandoori set to the next table, which came after us, I asked him where our tandoori sets were. He then waved in the general direction of the counter, signalling that it was on the way, I assume. When I pointed out that he had just served the table next to us a tandoori set even though we were here and ordered first, he gave me a very KL and sian face, and went to the counter, where he got one set, and then went back for another when we told him we had ordered two. Not a word of apology. The waiter in question is relatively new - was there the previous time we patronised the restaurant too, and he was equally annoying then. Anyway, I couldn't stand it, and when I went to pay, I complained bitterly about him, drumming in the point about how we were very old and regular customers. I remember going to Islamic with Granddad (Indonesian) as a young kid, when they had 2 units, and were open on both floors.
When we left after lunch, we left our umbrellas there too. Sigh.
After lunch, I went to Centrepoint and browsed with Mr Milo at Times before going for my appointment. Sadly, I had gained 300g. I think it has to do with my upcoming period. I'm feeling all bloated and munchy. Sigh. Anyway, had another session of massage, this time on the back of my thighs. Once again, another torture session.
Food Journal:
Breakfast - slice of cheese
Lunch - tandoori chicken (did not finish it) and the dahl from the set.
Dinner - Salad greens and capsicum
Gratitude Journal
No need to teach on Monday!
