2 weekends ago (belated)

Friday (21/11) - Had dinner with Mum, DB, WL, John, Bette, Bill and Coral at Jumbo Seafood at Dempsey.  Met Coral for the first time.  She did not seem to enjoy herself very much.  Ah well.  Bette invited us for Christmas dinner.

On Saturday (22/11), Mr Milo and I went to East Coast as usual. What was not so usual was that he cycled rather than bladed. We cycled from the bike stand near McDonald's to Changi Beach Park (where they had a cafe/bistro - near the 700m mark, I think). According to mapmyfitness.com, the distance one way is about 17.8km. That makes the round trip 35+km. We cycled there and back in about 3 hrs (had to pay for one more hour for the hire of the bicycles), including a short rest at Changi Beach Park where we bought cold Lime 100+ to refresh ourselves.   It was fun, if somewhat tiring.  And we were rather slow too.  At 35km, it is 10km less than the runway cycling event I did earlier in the year.  As there are also fewer upslopes on this route, I was not as exhausted as I was that time.  It was fun.  We should try to do that again.

I've tried very hard to post the map here, and although it shows in my draft, it just refuses to do so when saved and published.  Thus, if you want to see the map, please click on the link below.

Changi Beach Park is rather pleasant.  Not as frenetic as East Coast Park.

Monday (24/11)
Met up with Dad at the lawyers to sign the lease for Sebel.  Had already signed it with Kor before he left.  Shopped at Raffles City after that.  Must remember to pay Mum back as I used her Robinson's card.
