Mr Milo has been wanting to drive up to M'sia for some time, so we made some time to do so Sunday 5 July 2009.

We left home at about 9:30am.  Topped up out petrol to more than 3/4 tank, and then made our way to the Tuas checkpoint.  After passing thru the Tuas checkpoint, we stopped briefly at Gelang Petah to top up our Touch N Go Card and to change some $$.

We then drove to Bukit Indah.  To get there, turn off at the exit (307/308?) to Johor Bahru before you even get onto the NS Highway.  Then, look out and turn off at the Bukit Indah exit (it's on the other side of the highway), and it's on your left.  Total charges S$4.90 for Sg customs and RM10.80 for M'sian toll (one way).  Parking is RM1,

We walked ard the shopping mall.  Jusco is just another departmental store and supermarket, but one with an amusement centre on the top floor.  Their electronics department is much smaller than that in Sg.  I guess that is reflective of the disposible income of the two places.
There are some other shops in the mall.  I liked Lovely Lace a lot.  It, and its merchandise are just so pretty.  There was also a nice bakery called Lavender on the ground floor, and a shop selling traditional snacks, like Satay Fish.  Interestingly, the BreadTalk here is not just a bakery, but is an eatery as well.

We had lunch at Black Canyon, a Thai chain.  I had a Salmon Salad, and JH a Green Curry Fettucini, and we ordered a Mexican Iced Coffee simply because it came in a boot shaped glass.

Once lunch was over, we noticed that the place became packed.  So it is a good idea to come early, and to leave early.

We also drove over to Best Mart where we bought some DVDs before going home.

Stopped at Gelang Petah to refuel and bought some yummy Putu Mayam.
